Zoho Sells a Power Dialer. The Question Is Where It Lives.
Let’s start honestly, because plenty of vendor pages will not. Zoho Voice, Zoho’s own cloud phone system, ships a Power Dialer that automates outbound call campaigns from dial groups of up to 1,000 contacts, which can be imported from a Zoho CRM view. It is included on the Zoho Voice Contact Center plan and available as a paid per-user add-on on other Voice plans, multi-agent campaigns spread calls across up to 40 agents, and for a team that lives in the Voice app, it does what it says.
The structural choices are what Zoho CRM teams keep bumping into. The campaign is built and launched inside Zoho Voice, and each agent is connected to one call at a time; Zoho’s documentation describes no per-rep parallel dialing. Your reps, meanwhile, live in Zoho CRM, where the Leads, Contacts, notes, and pipeline actually are. Ask around in Zoho user communities and the recurring telephony question is rarely about whether a dialer exists. It is whether anyone is genuinely happy with how calling connects to their CRM. That gap between where the dialer runs and where the data lives is the gap Kixie closes.
How the Kixie PowerDialer Works Inside Zoho CRM
Kixie connects to Zoho CRM as a native PhoneBridge telephony provider on any paid Zoho edition with API access enabled. No Zoho Voice subscription, no middleware. From there, a session runs in three moves.
1. Start From the Zoho Lists You Already Work
Filter a Leads or Contacts list view and dial straight from it. DirectSync ties every call to the exact record you dialed, so the log never lands on a lookalike duplicate; the full matching logic, including Contact-over-Lead priority, lives on our Zoho automatic call logging page. For managed queues, the multi-line Kixie PowerDialer runs PowerList sessions filled by import, the Kixie API, or an automation you set up once. To be precise: that PowerList fill is not a native Zoho view sync, and the list-view path needs no such caveat.
2. Dial Multiple Lines, Talk Only to Humans
The dialer places up to 4 calls in parallel on the Multi-Line PowerDialer, while AI Human Voice Detection, a premium add-on, separates live answers from machines and IVRs. Reps are bridged only when a person picks up, and the PowerCall popup surfaces the Zoho Lead or Contact the moment they are, with inline field editing so the record is updated mid-call. When a machine answers instead, one click drops a pre-recorded message and the session keeps moving; that flow has its own page at voicemail drop for Zoho.
3. One Disposition Closes the Loop
Every outcome the rep picks logs to the Lead or Contact as a Closed Task, mirrored to the associated Account, with the recording attached on included cloud storage. Because outcomes are Zoho-native objects, Zoho workflow rules can trigger on them: Connected advances the stage, Meeting Booked creates the task, No Answer queues the follow-up email. The rep is already talking on the next line while Zoho CRM files the paperwork.
The Side-by-Side That Matters
Lines: Zoho Voice’s dialer connects each agent to one call at a time, even in multi-agent campaigns; Kixie dials several lines in parallel per rep. Location: Voice campaigns are built as dial groups and launched from the Voice app; Kixie sessions start from Zoho CRM list views and log back to the records reps already own. Loop: Kixie dispositions land as Closed Tasks that fire Zoho workflows. Cost shape: the Voice dialer is included on the Contact Center plan and a paid add-on elsewhere; Kixie’s PowerDialer comes with a Kixie PowerDialer plan and needs no Zoho Voice seat at all.
What You Need Before You Start
- A paid Zoho CRM edition with API access enabled. Kixie connects through Zoho’s native PhoneBridge telephony channel. Trial Zoho accounts do not qualify.
- A Kixie plan with the multi-line PowerDialer. The Zoho integration itself comes with Kixie; parallel dialing capability depends on your Kixie tier.
- Leads and Contacts with default phone fields. The integration works Zoho’s Leads and Contacts modules using the standard Mobile and Phone fields; custom modules are not currently supported, and we would rather tell you here than in onboarding.
Setup is a one-time authorization, and most teams place their first parallel session call from a Zoho list view within minutes. Start with the full Zoho integration overview for logging, texting, and workflow automation beyond the dialer, then run your first multi-line session on the list your team already trusts.
