Kixie publishes practical information about sales communication, revenue operations, business calling, messaging, and the software that supports those workflows. This page explains how we create, review, and maintain that content.
Our editorial principles
- Answer the reader first. We aim to give a clear answer before background, promotional language, or source notes.
- Make accountability visible. Articles identify an author, publication date, and a substantive update date when applicable.
- Use the strongest available sources. For changing legal, regulatory, pricing, or product claims, we prioritize regulators, statutes, official product documentation, and other primary materials.
- Separate evidence from opinion. We distinguish documented facts, Kixie product information, editorial assessment, customer-reported outcomes, and hands-on observations.
- State meaningful limitations. We avoid presenting a feature as a guarantee of compliance, deliverability, connection rates, or another outcome controlled by outside systems or by the customer’s own practices.
Research and source selection
Research depth depends on the subject. General educational articles may use established reference materials and Kixie’s product knowledge. Product and integration guides should use current official documentation. Legal and compliance articles should link to the relevant regulator, rule, order, statute, or other controlling primary source and identify the jurisdiction and effective date when those details affect the answer.
Source lists and methodology notes appear near the end of an article or inside an expandable disclosure so they do not displace the answer readers came for.
Reviews, comparisons, and commercial interests
Kixie sells business communications software and therefore has a commercial interest when an article discusses Kixie or competing products. Comparison and “best” articles should disclose that relationship, explain the criteria used, distinguish hands-on evaluation from document research, and identify material trade-offs. We do not describe a product as tested unless a dated testing record exists.
AI-assisted work
Kixie may use automated tools to assist with research organization, drafting, editing, image creation, and routine content maintenance. A human editor remains responsible for what is published. Automated output is not treated as a source, and changing or consequential claims should be checked against appropriate source material.
Authors and reviewers
Article bylines should identify the person or team responsible for the published work. A reviewer is named only when that person actually performed a substantive review. We do not assign legal, technical, or professional credentials that have not been verified.
Updates and corrections
We update content when a material fact, product capability, rule, source, or recommendation changes. Minor formatting changes do not necessarily receive a new “Updated” date.
